When it comes to training, I’ve witnessed many talented students do one of two things. It’s either train to full potential or hold back. Training at full potential can be balanced so not to burn out. That’s a technicality and very common. But…holding back needs some spotlighting. Here are two ideas to meditate on.
“We don’t rise to our levels of expectation. We sink to the lowest levels of our training.”
“Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.”
As you can see, holding back needs to be exposed. There is so much potential inside each and every one of us. I’d like to convince you that your potential is amazing and inspiring.
It can be scary and sometimes we feel silly or embarrassed to let it out but let me assure you, it’s exhilarating to watch you become powerful with it. I always look forward to seeing it unleashed. In my opinion, it’s one of the best compliments you can possibly give to any teacher.
Keep going and be amazing!
