Some of Ervin’s accolades and achievements include VFC 5 Muay Thai Champion, Full Instructor in the World Thai Boxing Association under Grandmaster Surachai Sirisute (Ajarn Chai), 2015 Gi Pan Ams Master 2 Bronze, BJJ Brown Belt under Carlos David Oliveira, Judo Brown Belt, Judo State Trainer, a Senior Associate under the leading authority Dan Inosanto in Filipino Martial Arts and Jeet Kune Do Jun Fan Gung Fu (Bruce Lee‘s unique fighting system), recognized as a Sayoc Kali Associate Instructor (Pamana Tuhon Chris Sayoc’s family system) sponsored by Dr. Robert Shin.
He has trained everyone from beginner and advanced students as well as to professional athletes. Throughout his career, events with US Grappling, IBJJF, ADCC Virginia Beach Nationals, NAGA, Muay Thai events such as Muay Thai Expo, and MMA venues like Spartyka Fight League Ervin has produced champions.
Before becoming a full time entreprenuer and voice over talent, Ervin has served as Senior Capabilities Manager for Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command having one of the highest certifications the Information Technology industry achievable for security, the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
Ervin is the host of Espada Podcast, a series of episodes highlighting the translation of what martial arts is in real life application.
